A GENERAL MEDICAL CAMP ORGANIZED BY FATHER MULLER HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICAL COLLEGE & HOSPITAL AT POST COVID COUNSELING CENTRE, MUDIPU ON 28/07/2021

A General Medical camp was organized by Department of Community Medicine, Department of Paediatrics and NSS unit of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital in collaboration with Janashikshana trust at Post Covid Counseling Centre, Mudipu on 28/07/2021 at 10:00am. The programme was inaugurated by Mr Ramesh Shenava, senior entrepreneur and advisor of Jana Shikshana Trust, Mudipu. 

Mr Krishna Moolya, Director of Jana Shikshana Trust,  Mr Sheena Shetty, sanitation ambassador of Dakshina  Kannada, Mr Sunil Kumar Balepuni grama Panchayath development officer , Dr Sajan K R, HOD Community Medicine ,FMHMC  were present for the inaugural programme.

Mr Ramesh Shenava, senior entrepreneur and advisor of Jana Shikshana Trust, Mudipu highlighted about the importance of gaining knowledge in health care. Dr Sajan K R communicated to the gathered beneficiaries of the camp regarding the COVID appropriate behavior.

As a part of the upcoming "world breast feeding week" Dr Hanumanth gave awareness talk on the importance of breast feeding. And also as a part of the upcoming "world mosquito day" Dr Sneha Jnanakshee gave awareness talk on Mosquito borne diseases during the Monsoon season. Following this general medical camp and health cards were distributed to the needy. A team of three post graduate students and two interns actively participated in the camp & the programme concluded by 1.00pm.
