Cancer awareness Talk at Manchi

A Cancer Awareness programme including
an awareness talk and a general medical camp was conducted by Medicine unit I A and B, Father Muller Homoeopathic
Medical College Hospital in association with Child And Female Welfare
Development Department, Manchi was organized as a part of the cancer awareness
week at FMHMC & H on 11.02.2022 from 9.30 am till 2pm
Dr Deepa Pais, Deputy Medical Superintendent,
FMHMC and Dr Gayathri Post Graduate, Department of Pediatrics gave an awareness
talk in Kannada to the group and spoke about the importance of early screening
and detection of cancer and also highlighted regarding causes and symptoms of
Breast cancer, cervical cancer, oral cancer and lung cancer. They also spoke
regarding the scope of Homoeopathy as an adjuvant treatment.
Dr Skandhan Assistant Professor, Department
of Organon of medicine and Dr Kashyap Assistant Professor, Department of Community
Medicine interacted with the gathering and clarified the queries raised by
them.
The Postgraduates, Interns and
students assisted the camp by helping in registration, examination and dispensing
of the medicines
