Cancer Awareness Talk at Father Muller Homeopathic Pharmaceutical Division

As a part of the Cancer Awareness Week
held at Fr Muller Homeopathic Medical College held from 21.02.2022 to
26.02.2022, a cancer awareness talk was held in Kannada for the staff of Homoeopathic
Pharmaceutical Division on 23.02.2022
from 3.30 pm to 4.30pm.
Dr Deepa Pais, Deputy Medical Superintendent,
FMHMC Dr Skandhan Assistant Professor, Department of Organon of medicine and Dr
Kaiplesh were the resource persons for the same.
They highlighted the importance of
early screening and detection of cancer and also the causes and symptoms of
throat cancer, oral cancer, lung cancer, Breast cancer and Cervical cancer.
They also spoke regarding the scope of Homoeopathy as an adjuvant treatment. A
mention was also made regarding the establishment of the Palliative care
treatment in the hospital premises.
There was an interactive session with
the gathering and clarified the queries raised by them.
A total of 60 participants attended
the talk.
