Women's Health Camp at Ullal

A Women's Health Camp is conducted by department of
Obstetrics and Gynecology in collaboration
with the Department of AYUSH on 16th March 2022 at Urban Primary Health Centre, Ullal.
The programme started with prayer song followed by
welcome address and Lighting of the Lamp by the dignitaries. Dr Vidyasagar, Medical Officer, Urban Primary Health Centre
Ullal, Dr Thara, Paediatrician,
UPHC Ullal, Dr Sahana Panduranga,
Deputy Chief Medical Officer, AYUSH unit, UPHC Ullal, Dr Vilma Meera DSouza, Vice-Principal & HOD department of
Obstetrics & Gynecology and Dr Raisa Cheriyan, Assistant Professor, department of Obstetrics and Gynecology
were present for the Lighting of the Lamp.
This is followed by a health awareness talk on Women's
Health issues. Ms Ayeesha Afeefa, Intern of Father Muller Homoeopathic
Medical college gave awareness talk on Menopause
related issues and Dr Vilma Dsouza,
HOD department of OBG highlighted the importance
investigations and Health Check-up in females above 40-50 years.
Around 45
patients attended the camp.
