World Anti-Tobacco Day

In view of World
Anti-Tobacco Day, Department of Community Medicine held a weeklong exhibition
on Health Awareness on harmful effects of Tobacco to the general public at OPD premises.
1 Post Graduate and 19 interns actively participated.
A Health
Education Programme on World Anti-Tobacco
Day was conducted on 31.05.2022 at Government High School, Hoohakuvakallu.
The programme started at 10:00 am, Mrs Vijayalakshmi. Principal of Govt. High
School hosted the programme. Dr Keerthana K J post-graduate gave awareness to
high school children's and parents. It was an interactive session, were around
110 Parents participated. Team leader was Dr Kashyap Suvarna Assistant Professor,
Department of Community Medicine & 2 interns participated actively.
Programme ended at 11:00 am.
