Womens Health Camp at Ranipura

Ranipura Church camp was organized on 12th March
2023 from 8.30 am to 1.00 pm. 12 members including 3 staff, 3
postgraduates and 6 Interns participated in the camp.
The Programme
started by invoking God's blessings through a prayer song followed by the
welcome address and Lighting of the lamp. Rev Father. Jayaprakash Dsouza, Parish priest of Ranipura Church gave the message
Importance of women's health care in the society. Sr. Usha Convent
superior of Ranipura Church delivered a talk on "Necessity of health care in
women".
Dr. Vilma
Meera Souza, Vice Principal, HOD & Professor, dept. of OBG,
FMHMC, highlighted the Importance of health care in general. Dr.
Renita Joshma Dsouza, postgraduate student delivered a talk on "Common
women's health problems".
Women's
health awareness programme was followed by health checkup by the
doctors of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College &
Hospital. Free Medicines were given and 50% concession on USG,
Thyroid function test, Hormonal assay, Pap smear, screening test for cancer at
and 100% concession on Hb and urine test.
Total 79
ladies participated in the camp and availed the facilities. The programme concluded with Lunch sponsored by
Ranipura church.
