Camp & awareness talks on Respiratory complaints at FMHMCH

The Paediatric OPD Unit and the Paediatrics
Department of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital organized
a Respiratory Week, with camp and awareness talks on Respiratory diseases in
children from 27.03.23 to 01.04.23.
The camp was initiated to observe World Tuberculosis
day 2023 and to highlight the common respiratory diseases in children.
The daily camps were organized between 8:45 am to
4:30pm at the Hospital OPD. On these days awareness talks were also delivered
by Paediatric Postgraduates on Respiratory diseases in children and their
management through Homoeopathy.
A total of 10 children availed the facility.
Registered patients were provided with 100% Concession on
Spirometry and Digital Otoscopy and 50% Concession on Lab investigations and
medicines. The patients were from
the nearby localities and schools.
All the
Paediatric unit staff, Paediatric department and Paediatric postgraduates
co-ordinated the camp well.
