Awareness programme on World Anti-Tobacco Day

In view of World Anti-Tobacco Day, Department of Community
Medicine along with the Medicine Unit 2 organized an Awareness programme on
harmful effects of Tobacco to the general public at OPD premises. This year's
theme for World Anti-Tobacco Day is
Grow food not tobacco.
The general public was educated on the importance
of observing the day, the side effects of tobacco, displayed charts and specimens
to the general public to raise awareness on the bad effects on various systems.
A short video presentation explaining the same was presented at the OPD
premises.
Post Graduate and interns actively participated in
this health education activity.
