Observation of Breast feeding week

In view of the 'World Breast feeding week', The Paediatric Department of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital had organized a Free Medical camps were arranged to screen the children along with awareness talk on, "Advantages and contraindications of Breastfeeding" from 1st to 7th of August 2023.
The camps were
conducted at
- Madyar anganwadi on 01.08.2023
- Deralakatte anganwadi on 02.08.2023
- Natekal anganwadi on 04.08.2023
- Renjady anganwadi on 05.08.2023.
The beneficiaries were children, mothers of the Anganawadi children, teachers and localites. The children were distributed free medicines like Alfalfa tonic, calendula ointment etc. from Fr Muller Pharmaceutical Division.
Simultaneously,
the Healthy Baby Competition for children below 2 years was arranged from 1st
to 7th August 2023 at OPD. The prize winners of the competitions
were awarded with cash prizes and biscuits were distributed to all the other
children.
