General Medical Camp at Kumble, Kasaragod

A General Medical Camp was organized by Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College Hospital, in collaboration with CODP on Saturday, 16.09.2023 at CODP extension Centre at Shantipalla, Kumbla, Kasaragod.

The camp began with a prayer song at 10:30am. Mr Ravi Crasta, CODP Coordinator, welcomed the gathering.  Dr Anita Lobo, Professor, FMHMC, the team leader of the camp, spoke about the scope of Homoeopathy in different health conditions, particularly in females. The various units and facilities provided at FMHMCH for the same. She stressed on the benefits of taking Homoeopathic medicines.

Dr Akshay, post-graduate, FMHMC, opined that Fr Muller has its own pharmacy where medicines are prepared and that medicines will be given free of cost during the camp. A new PHC will be start soon at Kumbla, which will be functioning twice a month. He said that Homoeopathy has a lot of scope in female complaints particularly PCOD, infertility etc. and also various disorders like Hypertension, Diabetes, Thyroid complaints, Allergies, Anaemia, Piles etc.  

After screening, the patients were attended by Dr Anita Lobo, Dr Sulabha and Dr Akshay and medicines were prescribed. The medicines were dispensed free of cost.
