Camp at Police Line Anganawadi, Pandeshwar

The
Department of Paediatrics organized a Medical Screening Camp and an Health Talk
on Paediatric Nutrition at Police line Anganwadi-II, Pandeshwar on 18.01.2024.
The
program commenced with a welcome speech and introduction by Mrs Sathyabama,
Anganwadi Teacher. The camp was formally inaugurated by lighting the lamp by
the dignitaries - Mrs Swetha, Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Mrs Anupama,
Anganwadi Supervisor, Mrs Chithra Nayak, ASHA worker and Dr Ancy George,
Assistant Professor, Dept. of Paediatrics, the Team leader.
Mrs
Swetha delivered a message emphasizing
the importance to promote the well being of children. Followed by that
Dr Shreyank Kotiyan, Post graduate gave an awareness talk on Paediatric
Nutrition.
The
program continued with patient registration and screening.
A
total of 61 kids benefited from the camp. A free Homoeopathic kit was
distributed to all the patients which contained 2 Homoeopathic Patent Products.
Free medicines were provided to patients during the camp for 2 weeks and follow
ups were referred to Wenlock AYUSH OPD.
