Free General Medical Camp at Ullal Taluk AYUSH Unit

In view of
World Homeopathy Day 2024, a General Medical Camp was organized by Father
Muller Homoeopathic Medical College Hospital in collaboration with AYUSH,
Dakshina Kannada Mangalore at Taluk
AYUSH unit, Ullal on April 13, 2024.
The program
commenced with a warm welcome by Dr Sahana
(Ayush Head) and delivered a message emphasizing the importance of
Organising Medical camps and Highlighted about efficacy of Homeopathy system of
Medicine as a World Homoeopathic Day
Post Graduate Dr Renita Dsouza gave an awareness talk highlighted about the uniqueness and
effectiveness of Homeopathy system of medicine and benefits of Health card. She
also highlighted the facilities available at Father Muller Homeopathic Medical
College Hospital, Deralakatte.
The program
continued with patient registration and general health check-ups. Health card
were distributed to the patients, enabling them to access benefits from
Deralakatte and Kankanady Hospitals. Free medicines were provided to patients
during the camp for duration of two weeks. Patent products were prescribed and patients
were encouraged to utilise Homoeopathic patents. Follow- ups were referred to
the Thumbay OPD, Kankanady and Deralakatte OPD.
The dedicated team
led by Dr Nandini J D, Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine. Along with 5 Post Graduates and 6 Interns.
Total patients benefited from this camp
were 35.
