World Kidney Day 2024 - a week-long camp

In view World Kidney day, a week-long camp was organised by the Medicine
and Surgery OPD Units from 29.07.2024 to 03.08.2024 at the Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital OPD.
The camp featured awareness talks by postgraduate scholars and interns complemented
with insightful videos.
The camp offered 50% concession on laboratory investigations including Haemoglobin
estimation, serum creatinine, blood urea, urine analysis, abdominal ultrasound
and medicines. Charts and models were displayed to illustrate the risk factors,
causes, and symptoms of various kidney diseases, with interns providing
detailed explanations. One Patient with kidney related ailment registered for the camp.
The
postgraduate scholars and interns demonstrated active and enthusiastic
participation throughout the
World kidney day awareness camp.
