Screening Camp at St. Joseph’s High School, Kankanady

A Screening Camp was organized by the Department of Paediatrics at St. Joseph’s High School, Kankanady on 08.11.2025.
A health talk on ‘Hygiene and Healthy Habits’ was delivered by Dr Jaggesha, MD Part II from the Department of Paediatrics.
The team leaders were Dr Reshel Noronha, Associate Professor, Department of Paediatrics and the visiting consultant was Dr Jyothi Menezes, Senior Resident, Dental Department, FMMCH. The team also included Paediatric postgraduates and 2 Interns.
A total of 65 students of 8th and 9th standard were screened for various problems like dental caries, learning problems and recurrent respiratory infections. The camp concluded at 3:30 pm.
