Report on Awareness talk at Eliyar Padav Anganwadi

An awareness talk was organized at Eliyar Padav Anganwadi by the Department of Paediatrics on 10.10.2025 as part of a Community Health Outreach Activity.
The session began at 10:30 a.m., with an introduction by the Anganwadi staff. Dr. Jaggesha, MD scholar delivered an awareness talk focusing on Nutrition, Child Health and Preventive Healthcare Practices for children and mothers. The importance of balanced diet, immunization, hygiene, and common health issues in children were discussed in detail.
Mr Showhad G M coordinated the camp arrangements, interacted with the attendees, and provided information about the healthcare facilities available at Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital.
The session was attended by Anganwadi workers, local mothers, and children. The participants actively interacted and appreciated the informative and practical content of the session.
The team departed from Deralakatte OPD at 10:15 a.m. and returned after the successful completion of the event. The camp achieved its objective of spreading awareness about child and maternal health at the community level.
