Training Programme on “Access, Assessment and Continuity of Care”

A training programme on “Access, Assessment and Continuity of Care” was successfully conducted on 6th May 2026 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Father Muller Skill Lab – Seminar Hall. The programme was organized with the objective of enhancing the understanding of patient care processes and strengthening quality service delivery across various hospital departments.

The session witnessed the active participation of Unit Heads, members of the MRD and Clinical Audit Committee, Laboratory Staff, Radiology Staff, OPD Front Office Staff, Billing Staff, and MRD Staff. A total of 25 staff members attended the programme.

The resource person for the session was Dr. Helen Gnanakalanjiam, Chief Quality Manager of Father Muller Medical College and Hospital. She delivered an insightful and comprehensive presentation emphasizing the importance of streamlined access to healthcare services, accurate patient assessment, and continuity of care in improving patient outcomes.

During the session, Dr. Helen highlighted the significance of coordinated teamwork among departments, proper documentation practices, and adherence to quality standards in healthcare delivery. Practical examples and real-life clinical scenarios were discussed to help participants understand the effective implementation of these principles in day-to-day practice.
