Training Programme on “Care of Patients”

As part of the preparations for the upcoming NABH Assessment, a training programme on “Care of Patients” was conducted on 12th May 2026 from 3.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. at the Father Muller Skill Lab – Seminar Hall.

The programme was organized for Unit Heads, Nursing Incharges, Nursing Staff, Nursing Aids, SMOs, RMOs, and Code Blue and Code Pink team members. The session was conducted by Dr. Helen Gnanakalanjiam.

The training focused on patient-centered care, patient safety practices, effective communication, documentation, continuity of care, and adherence to NABH standards. The session also emphasized the responsibilities of healthcare professionals in ensuring quality patient care and maintaining hospital safety protocols.

The programme was interactive and informative, with participants actively engaging in discussions and clarifying their queries regarding NABH requirements related to patient care. A total of 30 participants attended the programme.
