Hands-on workshop on CTRI (Clinical Trials Registry - India) registration

The Research Cell of Father Muller College of Nursing organized a hands-on workshop on CTRI (Clinical Trials Registry - India) registration for the First Year M.Sc. Nursing students and newly joined faculty members on 12th May 2025 at 2:30 pm in the Syndicate Hall.The session was facilitated by Prof. Sandra Saldanha, Chairperson of the Research Cell, who provided a comprehensive orientation on the process and importance of CTRI registration. The session aimed to build research competencies among novice researchers by guiding them through the protocol registration process in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Prof. Precilla D'Silva and Dr. Reena Frank supported the session by assisting the participants with hands-on practice and technical guidance. Under their supervision, all participants were able to successfully register one research protocol in the CTRI portal.The workshop proved to be highly interactive and productive, fostering research readiness and compliance with ethical standards. The initiative was well-received by the participants and marked a significant step in promoting quality research practices within the institution.
