Training session on “RGUHS- HELINET Consortium: Proquest Database”

Father Muller Central Library Committee organized a Training session on “RGUHS- HELINET Consortium: Proquest Database” on 6th June 2025 between 3 pm to 4 pm in the Decennial Memorial Hall.
The Program began with an invocation with a prayer song. Dr John J.S. Martis, Professor of General Surgery, Chairperson of the Central Library Committee, welcomed the gathering and introduced the Resource Person Mr. Srijith Sasidharan, Customer Success Manager at Clarivate, leading customer engagement across the Asia Pacific region, Bangalore.
Dr. Sasikumar S, Professor and HOD, Medical Surgical Nursing and the Member of the Central Library Committee offered a bouquet to Mr. Srijith Sasidharan.
Mr. Srijith Sasidharan conducted a live demonstration on the HELINET Consortium-Proquest Database, highlighting its features and usefulness for academic research and also covered how to access various scholarly
e-journals, e-books, multimedia and Dissertations available through the Proquest platform.
The program was attended by the Teaching Faculty, Library Committee Members, Postgraduate Students of various teaching Institutions of FMCI and the Staff of the Central Library. There was a good response to the Program, over 125 Staff and Students actively participated and interacted with the resource person and cleared their doubts.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr Janet Dotty Lobo, Chief Librarian, Secretary of the Central Library Committee. The program was meticulously compered by Ms. Yashmitha K, Lecturer/Medical Physicist, RTT and the Member of the Central Library Committee. The Program concluded with Institutional Anthem followed by Refreshments.
