Parent Teacher Association Meeting

The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) meeting for the 4th Semester (2023–2027 batch) and 6th Semester (2022–2026 batch) B.Sc. Nursing students was held on 6th September 2025 at 10:30 AM in the Florence Nightingale Hall.

The program began with a prayer song and lamp-lighting ceremony, graced by dignitaries including Fr Sylvester Vincent Lobo (Administrator), Dr Reena Wilma Frank (Principal), Dr Mona Mendonca (Guest Speaker), Mrs Janet Sequeira (Vice Principal), and Mrs Lixy Sebastian (Parent Representative).

Dr Mendonca delivered an inspiring talk on “Nurturing Young Minds with Compassion,” stressing empathetic parenting, open communication, and mutual respect. Parents actively shared feedback during the discussion.

Dr Reena Wilma Frank congratulated both batches for achieving a 100% pass rate and emphasized adherence to institutional policies. Fr Sylvester Vincent Lobo appreciated the cooperation of parents and students and distributed awards to university toppers.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs Sushma Belinda Rodrigues, the National Anthem, and interaction between parents and faculty. Student progress reports were reviewed, and lunch was served. About 100 parents attended, making the meeting both productive and engaging.
