Annual Parent Teacher Student Committee Meeting

The Parent Teacher Student Committee of Father Muller College of Nursing organized an Annual PTS meeting and a session on “FOCUS FORWARD-EMPOWERING PARENTS AND STUDENTS” for all parents/guardians of all-BSc Nursing Batches and GNM Nursing Batches of Father Muller School & College of Nursing on 27th September 2025 from 9.30am-5.00pm at Rajath Bhavan. The program started by imploring God’s grace through a prayer song by BSc & GNM students. Mrs.Denitha T, PTS Chairperson, welcomed the gathering and Ms. Asha, PTS member, was the master of ceremony, she introduced the resource person Dr. Rosa Nimmy Mathew, HOD, Department of Counselling, School of social work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangaluru. She stressed on biggest focus killer, Barriers towards excellence, Anatomy of Modern Distractions, breaking free from distractions, red flags for Mental Health, emphasized the importance of parent’s role in child’s education. Session ended with take home message to both parents and students. Coordinators of various batches presented the analysis of university exam and sessional exam. Sr. Dhanya Devasia, Principal, Father Muller School & college of Nursing interacted with parents regarding their performance and clarified the doubts of the parents. After the meeting parents had meeting with coordinators of respective batches. Around 162 BSc nursing student’s parents and 100 GNM nursing students’ parents were present for the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 4.30pm.
