Visit to Olavinahalli Rehabilitation Centre

The III Year GNM Students visited Olavinahalli Rehabilitation Centre at Kinya on 26th September 2025 at 10.00 am with a objective of bringing happiness to 80 inmates. The event was presided over by Rev Sr Dhanya Devasia Principal, Father Muller School and College of Nursing, along with Dr Shiji PJ Head of the Department of Community Health Nursing, Senior Sr Gabriel expressed few words in the program. The Community Health Nursing Departmental faculty, and total 54 students of IIIrd Year GNM was present for the program.
The Programme commenced with a prayer dance. followed by the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. Rev Sr Dhanya Devasia, delivered an insightful address highliting the students unity and hardwork in coordinating the programme and the contributions. The students conducted action songs, group singing and various games, which bought smiles in the faces of inmates. Sr Gabriel, gave a brief orientation to the students of the old age home. The students also visited the Rehabilitation Centre. The event concluded successfully with the active participation of Department faculty members and students, making it a meaningful and enriching experience.
