School Health Programme

Department of Community health Nursing along with 54 students of IIIrd Year GNM from Father Muller School of Nursing conducted a comprehensive School Health Programme at Government High School, Chitrapura ,Kulai Mangaluru on 19th September 2025 at 10.00 am The programme included health education on menstrual hygiene delivered through an engaging role play and an informative session on menstruation process and its Hygienic practices for the female students utilizing various Audio visual aids . The programme was presided over by the School Head Mistress Mrs. Padmini, along with Mrs. Sumithra corporator Chithrapura, Dr Shycil Mathew Associate Professor, Department of Community Health Nursing and Sub Coordinator Mrs. Vidya Mohan. The Community Health Nursing Departmental faculty, and total 54 students of IIIrd Year GNM and 65 students and school teacher of Govt school Chitrapura were present.
