General Health Check-up, Blood donation and Cancer screening and awareness camp at St Jude Church and Shrine, Pakshikere

A one-day general health camp was held on 5th October 2025 at St Jude Church and Shrine, Pakshikere organized by Father Muller Medical College Hospital in collaboration with Health Commission, Pakshikere. General Medicine, General Surgery, OBG, ENT, Dermatology and Surgical Oncology OPD along with GRBS, Pharmacy and ECG services were made available to 105 beneficiaries. Pap smear test, Breast and Oral Examinations were done for the beneficiaries. Dr Kumar Vashisht, Surgical Oncologist from FMMCH delivered talk on early detection and treatment of cancer. Blood donation camp also was successful with the help of 44 donors. Ms Jesmi, Sr Julet, Sr.Leeja, Ms Rinku, Sr.Nishmol, Ms Theertha students of II year PBBSc Nursing participated in the activities of the camp by assisting in Pap smear and dispensing free medicines to the beneficiaries. Ms Priya S Pereira, Associate Professor from Community Health Nursing Department, Father Muller College of Nursing was the coordinator for the camp.
