ADR  Monitoring Centre and Department of Pharmacology, FMMC in association with Indian Pharmacopoeia  Commission – National Co-ordination Centre, PVPI Ghaziabad, organized the guest  lecture, inaugural and sensitization of ‘National Pharmacovigilance Week 17th  -23rd September 2025 with the theme ‘Your  Safety, Just a Click Away: Report to PvPI’. Dr Deepthi Shreedhar,  Associate professor, Department of Pharmacology welcomed the gathering. Dr Sharath Kumar K, Professor in Pharmacology, Convener, Medical  Education Unit, Chief coordinator, Skill and Simulation centre, AMC  Coordinator, AJIMS, Mangaluru delivered the guest lecture on topic ‘Intersection of  Pharmacovigilance and Health Economics’.  
Dr  Chandralekha N, Professor and Head, AMC Coordinator, Department of Pharmacology  sensitised the participants about importance of reporting of ADRs, newly Re-launched toll-free  helpline (1800-180-3024) as an advanced Interactive Voice Response  System (IVRS). Also, she  highlighted the significance of World  Patient Safety Day 2025- Safe care  for every newborn and every child from day one of life and thanked everyone who  contributed to the success of the ADR monitoring centre. Dr Padmaja Udaykumar,  Professor, Department of Pharmacology, highlighted the events organized as a  part of National Pharmacovigilance Week 2025 
Rev.  Dr Michael Santhumayor, Administrator, FMMC, Dr Antony Sylvan Dsouza, Dean, Dr  Venkatesh BM, Vice Dean, FMMC released the ‘Drug induced lab value abnormality list’. Administrator congratulated Dr Chandralekha N and the whole team for the  AMC achievement. He also mentioned the importance of monitoring patients and  being vigilant about ADRs.
Pharmacovigilance  committee members, Dr Keerthana P Melanta, Jr PV associate, faculty of dept. of  pharmacology, Faculty from various departments of Father Muller medical  College, medical undergraduates, pharm D staff and interns were present at the  event.
