The course orientation for the 38th batch of P.B.B.Sc Nursing and the 34th batch of M.Sc Nursing was held from October 8–9, 2025, in the Community Health Nursing Laboratory, Father Muller College of Nursing. The program commenced with a warm welcome by the course convener, Dr Devina E. Rodrigues, followed by a friendly exchange of greetings and introductions between students and faculty. An engaging ice-breaking session helped the students overcome their initial nervousness and get acquainted with one another.

The first session on Professional Etiquette was conducted by Mrs Denitha T., after which Prof. Helen D’Souza, the co-convener, and Sr. Lavita P Dias led the students in singing the college and institutional anthems. The second day began with a session on Time Management by Dr Devina Rodrigues, followed by a reflective session on Spirituality and Student Life by Fr. Alban D’Souza, Chaplain, Pastoral Care, FMCI. Afternoon sessions focused on Public Speaking and Soft Skills, facilitated by Dr Sonia Sequera and Mrs Priya Pereira from FMCON. The orientation concluded with a campus tour, allowing students to familiarise themselves with the institution’s environment. Games and entertainment interspersed between sessions added a lively touch, making the program both informative and enjoyable. The sessions were moderated by Ms Deepika  NC and Dr Shiji P.J., along with the conveners, ensuring a smooth and interactive flow. The students expressed great enthusiasm and felt well-prepared to embark on their new academic journey.
