The course orientation for the 38th batch of  P.B.B.Sc Nursing and the 34th batch of M.Sc Nursing was held from  October 8–9, 2025, in the Community Health Nursing Laboratory, Father  Muller College of Nursing. The program commenced with a warm welcome by the  course convener, Dr Devina E. Rodrigues, followed by a friendly exchange of  greetings and introductions between students and faculty. An engaging ice-breaking  session helped the students overcome their initial nervousness and get  acquainted with one another.
The first session on Professional Etiquette  was conducted by Mrs Denitha T., after which Prof. Helen D’Souza, the  co-convener, and Sr. Lavita P Dias led the students in singing the college and  institutional anthems. The second day began with a session on Time  Management by Dr Devina Rodrigues, followed by a reflective session on Spirituality  and Student Life by Fr. Alban D’Souza, Chaplain, Pastoral Care, FMCI. Afternoon  sessions focused on Public Speaking and Soft Skills, facilitated by Dr Sonia  Sequera and Mrs Priya Pereira from FMCON. The orientation concluded with a  campus tour, allowing students to familiarise themselves with the institution’s  environment. Games and entertainment interspersed between sessions added a  lively touch, making the program both informative and enjoyable. The sessions  were moderated by Ms Deepika  NC and Dr  Shiji P.J., along with the conveners, ensuring a smooth and interactive flow.  The students expressed great enthusiasm and felt well-prepared to embark on  their new academic journey.
