One Day Training Session on Clinical Procedures

A one day training session on clinical procedures was held on 24.10.2025 for the Interns batch of 2025-26 at the Father Muller Competence learning centre, Deralakatte. The session was conducted to enhance the skills of the new batch of interns in various clinical procedures.
The session was taken by the resource persons from Father Muller College of Nursing, Kankanady. The team comprised of Wilma Shalini Noronha, Sr Lavita Priya Dias, Jubee Joseph, Pathima Violet Fernandes, Ashwin Bromeo J, Precilla Dsilva, Leena Margaret Castelino, Anitha Nancy Dsouza and Abin Kuriakose.
The session began with a brief welcoming of the resource persons with a floral bouquet presented by the Vice Principal Dr Vilma Meera Dsouza. The various stations were on First aid, Bandaging, Wound dressing, Male and Female catheterization, I V cannulization, OBG care and neonatal care.
The interns were divided into 9 batches and on a rotation basis they attended all the stations.
The programme concluded with the distribution of certificates to the resource persons by the Principal Dr E.S.J Prabhu Kiran. In the conclusion remarks he expressed gratitude to the resource persons.
Ms Srikanya gave the feedback of the session on the behalf of the bat. Training concluded at 3:30 pm.
