ANNUAL SPORTS DAY (SPORTIVA 2026 )– PHARMAVERSE 2025–26

As part of PHARMAVERSE 2025–26, Father Muller College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (FMCOPS), Deralakatte, organized its Annual Sports Day – SPORTIVA 2026 on January 23, 2026, with the aim of promoting physical fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork and holistic student development.

The spirit of SPORTIVA 2026 was set during the inaugural ceremony of PHARMAVERSE, wherein Rev. Fr. Faustine Lucas Lobo, Director, Father Muller Charitable Institutions, ceremonially unveiled the team jerseys for the four houses, marking the formal commencement of the sports celebrations. Students were grouped into four teams—PHARMANEXUS, PHARMASPECTRA, PHARMAMODULATOR and PHARMAPHYTON, fostering healthy competition and unity.

The Sports Day was formally inaugurated on January 23, 2026, by Rev. Fr. Donald Nilesh Crasta, Administrator, FMCOPS, who encouraged students to actively participate in sports alongside academics, emphasizing the importance of physical well-being in professional life. Dr. Satish S, Principal, FMCOPS, symbolically inaugurated the sports meet by throwing the inaugural ball and extended his best wishes to all team leaders, motivating them to participate with dedication, discipline and team spirit.

A variety of indoor and outdoor sporting events were conducted as part of SPORTIVA 2026. Indoor games such as Chess and Carrom were held on January 22, 2026, at the Indoor Stadium, 6th Floor, witnessing enthusiastic participation and strategic excellence from students. Outdoor events, including Throwball, Badminton and Cricket, were conducted on January 23, adding vibrancy and excitement to the sports meet.
