Medical Screening Camp – St Dominic School, Polali. Bantwal

Our camp team comprised doctors from departments of Pediatrics, Dental, Ophthalmology, Speech & Hearing.

A total of  213 students attended the camp to use the many services available. A total of 213 students benefited from speech and hearing services.

Speech and hearing professionals in attendance were Mrs Risha Joslita Saldana (Audiologist Grade II), Ms. Shifa (Speech Language pathologist Grade I),and Ms Carol (Intern). Each patient received a case history, otoscopic assessment, and screening audiometry and speech assessment. Those who did not pass the hearing and speech screening received referrals via a camp referral card and were counselled to administer detailed diagnostic testing at Father Muller Medical Hospital at concessional rates.
