On 6th June 2026, a successful one-day General Health Check-up camp was conducted at Mount Carmel English Medium School, Shirthady. This initiative, organized by Father Muller Medical College Hospital in collaboration with Mount Carmel English Medium School, Shirthady aimed to promote health awareness and provide essential medical services to the parents and teachers of school children. The health camp offered medical services to the parents and teachers, including Speach and Hearing also general health check-ups for females conducted by the Department of OBG and rendered the services with Electrocardiogram (ECG) testing and dispensing free medicines to the beneficiaries. These services were aimed at facilitating early detection of health issues and promoting overall well-being among the parents and teaching members. The camp was coordinated by Ms. Caroline Smitha, Assistant Lecturer from the Department of Community Health Nursing at Father Muller College of Nursing (FMCON). She played a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the camp, assisted with the registration process and helped dispense free medicines to beneficiaries. The health camp attracted a total of 110 beneficiaries, who benefited from the various services provided.
