Extension Activity-Menstrual Hygiene and Adolescent Health

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing, Father Muller School and College of Nursing, organized an extension activity on 13th June 2026 at Infant Mary’s Hostel in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit. The programme was conducted under the theme “Menstrual Hygiene and Adolescent Health.”

The activity was held from 2:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m., benefiting 50 hostel children. An educational session on menstrual hygiene and adolescent health was delivered by Sr. Juliana Gretta. The session was enriched with a presentation on a healthy diet and health education demonstrations using working models prepared by the III Year GNM students.

Ms. Aakrathi welcomed the gathering, and Mr. Daniel proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was graced by the presence of Principal Sr. Dr. Dhanya Devasia, Sr. Gracy Monica (Hostel Warden), the Assistant Warden, and Prof. Precilla, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing.
