Institutional Values and Best Practices Committee

Overview

The Institutional Values and Best Practices Committee addresses Criterion VII of the NAAC accreditation. The committee focuses on gender equity sensitization, promoting environmental consciousness through the use of alternative energy sources, water conservation, proper waste management, and the implementation of a green campus initiative. This committee includes an active Women’s Cell, which organizes gender equity programs for staff and students, and the Disciplinary Committee, which monitors professional conduct within the college and campus. The committee also observes cultural events and promotes the best practices followed at the college.

Objective of the committee

  1. to uphold the Institutional values and discipline in promoting quality
  2. to actively contribute towards environmental awareness and green campus
  3. To identify best practices and Innovation from each department of FMCON

Function of the committee

  • Reducing paper work through MIS
  • Contribution towards environment by use of STP, Bio gas Plant, Rain water harvesting
  • Awareness boards on promoting green campus within and outside the college
  • Maintaining strict code of conduct for students and staff of College of Nursing
  • Undertaking best practices towards Institutional growth and excellence
  • To identify strengths, weakness, opportunity and threat of each department
