Cancer Screening and Awareness camp at Shirthady

one-day Cancer Screening
and Awareness camp was held on 8th October
2023 at Holy Angels
Kannada Medium School, Shirthady, organized by Father
Muller Medical College Hospital in collaboration with ICYM, Shirthady Block, Vehicle
Owners Club, Souhaarda Friends Club (R), Bhuvanajyothi Residential School,
Shirthady, Jewels group and Indian Cancer Society. Dr Rohanchandra Gatty, Dr
Dinesh Shet, faculty and staff from Father Muller Medical College Hospital delivered
a health talk on Cancer and its prevention and treatment. Simultaneously Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, OBG, Surgery OPD, Laboratory and Pharmacy departments delivered the services to 139
beneficiaries. Ms

Amruth, students of II year PBBSc
Nursing participated in the camp's activities by dispensing free medicines
to the beneficiaries and assisting in PAP smear. Ms
Priya S Pereira, a faculty from Father Muller College of Nursing, was the camp's coordinator.
