May 29 ,2024 Department of Community Health Nursing, Father Muller College of
Nursing, in collaboration with NSS unit conducted "Recreational Wellness
Program- a path to health" at Seon Ashram, BelthangdyThe primary objective of
the Recreational Wellness Program was to promote overall health and well-being
among the inmates of Seon Ashram, a shelter for destitute from various states
of India.The program encompassed a variety of recreational activities aimed at
physical, mental, and emotional rejuvenation. These activities included, Games:
Engaging the inmates in friendly competitions and team-building exercises.
Music and Dance Performances: Entertainment and participation in cultural
activities to uplift spirits. Health Education Sessions: Informative talks on
overall health promotion. Faculty members and students actively participated in
planning and implementing the various activities. The schedule was structured
to ensure maximum participation and engagement from all attendees.Feedback
received from Seon Ashram indicated that the program was highly beneficial for
the inmates. The recreational activities generated significant interest and
enthusiasm among the participants, contributing to their overall well-being.
