General Health Checkup Camp, Amrut Lalji High School, Kelarai

The General Health camp was held on 18th
August, 2024 at Amrut Lalji High School, Kelarai organized by Father Muller
Medical College Hospital, Kankanady Mangaluru in collaboration with Indian
Cancer Society, and St. Joachim & Anne Church, Kelarai. Departments such as General Medicine and Surgery with
ECG, Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, OBG with Pap smear and Breast Examination,
Pediatrics and Ophthalmology along with Laboratory and Pharmacy services were
made available. Cancer awareness session was organized for the people and was
given by Dr Elroy Saldhana (Surgical Oncologist). Ms Caroline Smitha,
Assistant Lecturer from Father Muller College of Nursing along with nursing
students Ms Sushmitha Fernandes, Mr Dalen Dsouza, Ms Jyothi Rodrigues and Mr
Shrijith participated in the activities of the camp by dispensing free
medicines for the beneficiaries maintaining the registration counters and
assisting in ECG. There were 250 beneficiaries
for this camp and camp was coordinated by Ms Caroline Smitha faculty of Father
Muller College of Nursing.
