Awareness programme In observance of World ORS Day

In observance of World ORS Day, the III BSc Nursing students,
along with the faculty of Child Health Nursing Department of Father Muller
College of Nursing in collaboration with Chaithanya Mahila Mandal and
Chaithanya Yuvathi Mandal , Angnawadi Bajpe , Mangaluru, organised an awareness programme on 14 August
2024 , at Bajpe Anganwadi . The program focused on the topic of Dehydration,
causes and clinical features, management, and ORS preparation.
The program included a role play, an informative talk, and a
demonstration of ORS solution preparation. The execution of the program was
guided by Prof .Wilma S Noronha and Prof Helen Claret Dsouza with Dr Josmitha M
Dsouza and Sr lavita Priya Dias also accompanied the team. A total 27 parents
and 02 Anganwadi workers attended the program .The event concluded with a vote
of thank and was well appreciated by the Panchayat leader, Mrs Sheela S.P.Rai.
