Handing Over Ceremony and Guest Lecture by Student Research Club at Father Muller College of Nursing

The Student Research Club of Father Muller College of Nursing organized its Handing Over Ceremony and Guest Lecture on January 15, 2025, at the Academy Hall.

The program commenced with an invocation, followed by the welcome address and the announcement of new office bearers. The outgoing office bearers were honoured for their contributions, and the ceremonial handing over marked a seamless transition of responsibilities.

The event was presided over by Rev. Fr. Richard Aloysius Coelho, Director of FMCI, who delivered the Presidential Address, highlighting the importance of cultivating a strong research culture among nursing students. The Chief Guest, Ms. Seelia Peter A, a distinguished Nurse Researcher from Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, delivered an inspiring guest lecture on "Unlocking the World of Research," which captivated the audience and enriched the program.

The occasion was further graced by the presence of Rev. Sr. Dhanya Devasia, Principal of FMCON; Dr. Ramesh Bhat, Head of Father Muller Research Centre; and Dr. Shivashankar A.R., Principal of the College of Allied Health Sciences, Thumbay.

This program was coordinated by the executive members of the Student Research Club, Mr. Prithesh Moras secretary and Ms. OchealSerao president under the guidance of Dr.Shycil Mathew, Chairperson, and Dr.Shiji P.J., Advisor of the Student Research Club at Father Muller College of Nursing.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, leaving the attendees motivated and inspired to embrace the future of nursing research.
