Role Play on Radio Programme - World ORS Day

On the occasion of World ORS Day observed on 29th July 2025, a radio programme was hosted by the Department of Child Health Nursing in collaboration with the 3rd year B.Sc Nursing students of Father Muller College of Nursing (FMCON) at All India Radio 100.3 FM, Mangaluru. The departmental faculty — Prof. Wilma Shalini Noronha, Prof. Helen Claret D’Souza, and Sr. Lavita Priya Dias — along with the third-year B.Sc Nursing students — Ms. Lavanya, Ms. Josvita, Ms. Jerusha, Ms. Neoma, Ms. Likhitha, and Ms. Jeniefer — participated in the programme as resource persons. The topic was presented through a role play in Kannada, covering the significance of the day, causes of dehydration, its management, and the preparation of Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS). The role play was recorded by All India Radio (Akashavani) on 23rd July 2025. The programme will be broadcast on 29th July 2025 at 5:00 PM on All India Radio 100.3 FM, Mangaluru.
