Workshop on Empowered Mentorship: Leading with Emotional Intelligence

A workshop on “Empowered Mentorship: Leading with Emotional Intelligence” was organized by the Teaching Learning and Evaluation (TLE) Committee under Criteria 2 of NAAC for the faculty of the College of Nursing, Father Muller Charitable Institutions (FMCI) on 23rd August 2025 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Rajath Bhavan.

The resource person was Dr. Deepa Kothari, Director of Alva’s Wellness Centre and Associate Professor of Psychology, Alva’s College, Moodbidri.

The workshop highlighted key aspects such as self-awareness, psychological first aid, and various techniques to enhance emotional intelligence. Interactive group activities enabled active participation from all faculty members.A total of 42 faculty members benefited out of the session.

Overall, the session proved to be an enriching and insightful learning experience for the participants.
