From Campus to Career: How to Ace Your Interview : Career guidance counselling programme

The Career Guidance Cell of FMCON organized a Career Guidance Counselling Programme titled “From Campus to Career: How to Ace Your Interview” on 20th September 2025 at 3:30 pm in Rajath Bhavan. The session was conducted for the final-year outgoing students to equip them with essential skills for making informed career choices and preparing for interviews. The resource person, Mrs. Sahana Margaret, Assistant Manager – Insurance at Justice K.S. Hegde Charitable Hospital, Mangalore, shared valuable insights on resume writing, professional presentation, interview techniques, and workplace readiness. She also emphasized the importance of communication skills, confidence, and staying updated with industry trends. The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating in the Q&A segment. A total of 130 students benefited from the programme and the feedback highlighted its practical usefulness and the need for such initiatives in the future. The event concluded at 4.45pm with a vote of thanks followed by the college anthem.
