Extension Program on Importance of resilience at Maria Nilaya, Jeppu

The Department of Mental Health Nursing, Father Muller College of Nursing along with the students of  VI Semester B.Sc. Nursing, organized an extension activity at Maria Nilaya, Jeppu on 17th September 2025 from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon. The event began with a prayer song and a welcome address, followed by a series of cultural activities including group songs, group dance, a duet song, an action song, and a role play on coping skills, which highlighted the importance of resilience in daily life. The programme also included lucky games, which the participants well received. A noteworthy aspect of the programme was the active involvement of the inmates, who enthusiastically presented dance and singing performances. Their participation added liveliness and inclusiveness to the event. The activity created a platform for interaction, joy, and mutual learning, while also emphasizing the importance of mental health, coping skills, and community engagement.
