General Health Check-up camp and Cancer screening Awarenes at Christ King Church, Venur

On 31st August 2025, a successful one-day General Health Check-up and cancer Screening awareness Camp was conducted at Christ King Church, Venur. This initiative, organized by Father Muller Medical College Hospital in collaboration with Fr L M Pinto Hospital Badyar, and Indian Cancer Society Mangalore aimed to promote health awareness and provide essential medical services to the local community. The health camp offered medical services to the public, including OBG, Ophthalmology and Surgical oncology including Pap smear, Breast Examination and ECG services. These services were aimed at facilitating early detection of health issues and promoting overall well-being among the community members. The camp was co-ordinated by Ms. Caroline Smitha, Assistant Lecturer from the Department of Community Health Nursing at Father Muller College of Nursing (FMCON). She played a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the camp. Additionally, one 2nd PBBSc Nursing student from Father Muller College of Nursing (FMCON) actively participated in the camp. She assisted with the registration process. The health camp attracted a total of 150 beneficiaries, who benefited from the various services provided.
