Christmas Celebration at the General Psychiatric Ward

The Christmas celebration at the General Psychiatric Ward, organized by the Department of Mental Health Nursing in collaboration with the second year GNM students and first year M Sc Nursing students was held on 9th December 2025 from 3.00 to 4.00 pm, bringing festive cheer to patients, their families, and the ward staff. The program began with a prayer song rendered by the students, followed by a warm welcome address. A ceremonial cake cutting marked the start of the festivities. This was followed by inspiring Christmas messages delivered by Mrs Lavina Rodrigues, Associate Professor, Ms Asha Vilson, Assistant Professor, and Sr Dhanya Devasia, Principal, FMSON and FMCON. A beautifully presented Christmas Musical Drama by the students filled the ward with joy and melodious Christmas spirit. The celebration grew livelier with the special appearance of Santa Claus, and refreshments added to the delightful atmosphere. The program concluded with a vote of thanks. The program was coordinated by Dr Agnes E J, Professor, along with Mr Naveen Rasquinha, Professor and Mrs Stacy Mavin Pinto, Assistant Lecturer, Department of Mental Health Nursing.
