Megha General Health Camp at Govt. School, Chikkerur, Haveri District

On 22nd February 2026, a successful one-day Megha General Health Camp was conducted at Govt. School, Chikkerur, Haveri District. This initiative, organized by Father Muller Medical College Hospital in collaboration with Shri U T Banagara, MLA, Chikkerur , Haveri district, who aimed to promote health awareness and provide essential medical services to the local community. The health camp offered medical, General Surgery services to the public, including OBG, ENT, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Dermatology, Ophthalmology including ECG and Pharmacy services. These services were aimed at facilitating early detection of health issues and promoting overall well-being among the community members. The camp was co-ordinated by Ms. Caroline Smitha, Assistant Lecturer and Prof Dr Sonia Karen Sequera from the Department of Community Health Nursing Father Muller College of Nursing (FMCON). They played a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the camp. Additionally Four 4th years BSc Nursing student from Father Muller College of Nursing (FMCON) actively participated in the camp. The health camp attracted a total of 505 beneficiaries, who benefited from the various services provided.
