General Health Checkup Camp at Vailankani Church Premises Farla, Bantwal

A one-day General Health Checkup Camp was conducted at the premises of Vailankani Church, Farla, Bantwal on 26 April 2026 in collaboration with Soorya Friends Circle, Badagundi, Vailankani Church Farla, and Father Muller Medical College Hospital, Mangalore. The camp included multiple departments such as General Medicine, Orthopedics, Dermatology, ENT, Ophthalmology, and Speech and Hearing. Free services were provided to beneficiaries, including GRBS testing, blood pressure monitoring, and distribution of medicines. The programme was carried out under the leadership and coordination of Mrs. Deepika N. C., Associate Professor, Department of Community Health Nursing, FMCON, with the active involvement of one IV-year BSc Nursing student and three III-year BSc Nursing students. A total of 132 beneficiaries utilized the services, and the camp effectively promoted general health awareness and encouraged early health-seeking behavior.
