Health Education Program on Immunization Observed during World Immunization Week

The Department of Community Health Nursing, Father Muller College of Nursing, in collaboration with NSS, organized a Health Education Program on 27/04/2026 at 11:30 AM at the Community Health Centre, Ullala. The program focused on the topic “Immunization.” The event was conducted in observance of World Immunization Week, celebrated annually from April 24th to 30th. Dr. Shruthi, Medical Officer, graced the occasion and addressed the gathering. The III Year B.Sc. Nursing students actively participated by delivering health education through informative talks and a song, making the session engaging and effective. Immunization charts were also displayed to enhance understanding among the participants. A total of 50 participants attended the program and benefited from the session. The program was coordinated by Mrs. Deepika N. C., Associate Professor; Mr. Abin, Assistant Professor and NSS Officer; and Ms. Apoorva, Lecturer. The program received enthusiastic appreciation from the Medical Officer as well as the participants.
