Annual Medical check-up camp: Infant Jesus School

An annual medical check-up camp was organized at Infant Jesus School on 3^rd and 4^th of February 2026 in collaboration with Father Muller Medical Hospital, Thumbe. This report pertains to day 1 of the camp 03/02/2026 during which the assigned medical team conducted health screening for school students. Our camp team comprised doctors from departments of General medicine, ophthalmology and speech and hearing along with hospital laboratory.           

The speech and hearing services were carried out by Ms Velida Coelho (Audiology Grade 1), Ms Al shifa (SLP Grade 1), Ms. Irene and Ms. Diya (Intern students). On day 1, a total of 165 students were screened. Each student underwent appropriate screening procedures for speech, language, and hearing respectively.

Students who did not pass the screening received referrals via camp referral cards and were counselled to undergo detailed diagnostic evaluation at Father Muller Medical Hospital at concessional rates.
