Annual Medical Check-Up Camp: St Gerosa Eng Hr Pry School, Jeppu, Mangalore

An Annual Medical Check-Up Camp was organized at Infant Jesus School on 19th and 20th January 2026 in collaboration with Father Muller Medical Hospital, Kankanady. This report pertains to Day 2 of the camp (10/02/2026), during which the assigned medical team conducted health screening for school students.

On Day 2, a total of 363 students were screened. Our camp team comprised doctors from departments of General medicine, ophthalmology and speech and hearing along with hospital laboratory.

The speech and hearing services were carried out by Ms Keerthana (Audiology Grade 1), Ms Al Shifa Khan (SLP Grade 1), Ms. Dhiya Fatima (Speech PG) and Mr. Salsal (Audio PG). Each student underwent appropriate screening procedures for speech, language, and hearing respectively.

Students who did not pass the screening received referrals via camp referral cards and were counselled to undergo detailed diagnostic evaluation at Father Muller Medical Hospital at concessional rates.
