SNA HANDOVER & TAKING CHARGE CEREMONY

The SNA Handover & Taking Charge Ceremony was held on 28th March 2026 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM. The event marked the official transfer of responsibilities from the outgoing office bearers to the newly elected executive committee while appreciating the efforts of the previous team.
The ceremony commenced with a prayer by the 3rd-semester students, followed by a warm welcome delivered by the SNA Vice President, who extended greetings to Rev. Father Sylvester Vincent Lobo (Administrator), Dr. Reena Wilma Frank (Principal), Dr. Edveena Philip Monis (SNA Adviser), faculty members, and students.
The Annual Report was presented by Ms. Lanny Ozita Fernandes, highlighting the key activities and achievements of the past year. This report was approved by Ms. Jasmine Sherly Moras and seconded by Ms. Leona K R. The Financial Report was presented by Mr. Ruben Menezes. This report was approved by Ms. Anisha Celine Lobo and seconded by Sr Leena Chacko
Dr. Edveena Philip Monis then introduced the newly elected SNA office bearers for the academic year 2026–2027: Vice President: Ms Princita D Souza, Secretary: Ms Reshma nair, Joint Secretary: Mr Emil Joseph, Treasurer: Ms Rini Mariam Vinoy, Programme Coordinatoe: Viva Jasmin Lobo, Sports Coordinator: Ms Aleena Alex. The new office bearers took an oath of commitment, with the newly elected Vice President promising to perform their duties responsibly and diligently.
Dr. Edveena Philip Monis also announced the prizes for various competitions conducted by SNA during 2024–2026. Both the Principal and Administrator addressed the gathering, appreciating the contributions of the outgoing members and encouraging the new team to continue the mission of SNA with dedication.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Via, followed by the institutional anthem and refreshments. This event was a remarkable opportunity to recognize the hard work of the outgoing team while motivating the new office bearers to carry forward the mission of the Student Nurses Association with dedication, integrity, and enthusiasm.
