Father Muller Charitable Institutions, having a history of 138 years has ventured into a new avenue – FATHER MULLER INDOOR STADIUM where FITNESS is the mantra. Sports and fitness are essential in promoting good health and complete well being of every individual. We, at Father Mullers, firmly believe that ‘prevention is better than cure’. Taking one more step ahead in our incessant endeavour to promote good health, Father Mullers is offering Gymnasium, Badminton court and Zumba sessions for the staff and students as well as the general public.

The building complex also houses a Multi Storeyed Parking Zone, which has one of the finest facilities under the aegis of Father Muller Charitable Institutions. It is a fully integrated state-of-the-art sports complex of National Standard with centralized air conditioning and a total playing area of 20,000 sq.ft. The complex has facilities for playing Badminton (4no’s), Basketball (1no), Volleyball (1no) and a state-of-the-art Gymnasium with the most modern pieces of equipment and a sprawling 4500 sq.ft area with P.U flooring. The indoor sports area holds 2no’s of Pool Tables and Table tennis respectively, along with a 1000 sq.ft Squash court.

The Inauguration of this Facility took place on 13th March 2018 which marks the 177th Birth anniversary of the Founder of Father Muller Charitable Institutions - Rev. Fr Augustus Muller S.J. Shri Pramod Madhwaraj, Hon’ble Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Karnataka was the Chief Guest who declared the Sports Complex open by cutting the ribbon. Smt P.T.Usha, Former Indian Track and Field Athlete, who was the Guest of Honour unveiled the plaque. Most Rev. Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza,Former Bishop of Mangaluru Diocese conducted the prayer service and blessed the premises.

The badminton coaching centre has been another expansion to the Ultra-Modern sports complex which houses other indoor recreations including kabaddi, handball, volleyball and basketball. The new Badminton Coaching Centre was launched at Father Muller Indoor Stadium, on Wednesday, 5 September 2018.The indoor sports complex is designed to meet the needs of the athletes and is built as per the universal benchmarks.

Father Muller Medical College is a unit of Father Muller Charitable Institutions, a Registered Society owned by the Catholic Diocese of Mangalore. This is a Religious Minority Educational Institution established primarily for the benefit of the members of the Christian Community. The Postgraduate courses MD/MS/Diploma were started in the year 1991 and the Undergraduate course - MBBS was started in the year 1999. Like all other Educational Institutions under Catholic auspices, it is open to all persons irrespective of religion, caste or community. The undergraduate and postgraduate degrees awarded at Father Muller Medical College under RGUHS, Karnataka, are recognized and approved by MCI (now NMC), New Delhi.

Today Father Muller Medical College has earned worldwide recognition as an outstanding centre of medical education producing trained medical personnel of calibre, topping the list of aspirants to get trained here. As of now the college conducts MBBS & Post-graduate programmes including PhD and MCh in Urology, along with several Allied Health Science & Para Medical courses. The college also provides amenities for the students as well as faculty & staff in the campus spreading almost 30 acres.

In 2013, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) had accredited Father Muller Medical College with 'A' grade, making it the first medical college under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, to be so accredited. Now Father Muller Medical College has been re-accredited with ‘A’ grade with a score of 3.21 CGPA for the period 2021-2026.

QS I∙GAUGE, an independent private-sector initiative specialised in rating colleges, universities, and schools has awarded DIAMOND College Rating to Father Muller Medical College.
